Your data stays yours.

The Maps connects to your CRM to display it on a map. We keep as little data as possible, you stay in control of access, and nothing is ever resold.

Access

You decide what The Maps can do.

Connecting to your CRM

  • The connection goes through HubSpot's official authorization screen. We never see your password.
  • Access keys are encrypted in our database.
  • You can revoke access at any time, from The Maps or from HubSpot.

Access to The Maps

  • During the beta, access is by invitation: every account is approved by hand.
  • You sign in with a link sent by email: no password to remember, or to have stolen.
  • All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).

What The Maps writes to your CRM

  • Only when you choose to: the notes and tasks you create from the map, or marking a deal as lost when you decide to.
  • The Maps never makes changes without your action and never deletes a company, contact or deal.
  • With Gmail, The Maps can only send the emails you approve. It never reads your inbox.
Data

As little data as possible.

Your CRM data stays in your CRM. The Maps reads it live to draw the map and uses it for nothing else.

With us, encrypted
  • Access keys to HubSpot and Gmail
  • The account's HubSpot domain and the connected Gmail address
  • An address cache: the company's HubSpot ID, its address and its coordinates. Not its name, contacts or deals.

  • Companies, contacts, deals, amounts and activities
  • Only the list of displayed deals stays in server memory for 5 minutes, during your session.

  • Your preferences and filters
  • Your personal places (home, office)
Disconnecting

When you leave, your access leaves with you.

When you disconnect

  • Your HubSpot and Gmail access keys are deleted immediately.
  • Gmail access is also revoked with Google.
  • Your account's address cache is deleted.

Address cache

  • The geocoded addresses and coordinates of your companies are deleted automatically when you disconnect your HubSpot account.

The themaps.io website is hosted by Netlify. It uses HubSpot for analytics and forms, only with your consent to cookies.
